Mega Barre Has Heart Campaign

Barre for the Heart Pop Up Class May 14, 9am

Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women, causing 1 in 3 deaths each year, but the simple truth is that most cardiovascular diseases can still be prevented with education and healthy lifestyle changes.   At Mega Barre we believe in not only great workouts, but educating our community on a heart healthy diet, stress reduction and how to recognize the symptoms of a cardiac emergency.

Mega Barre is proud to be raising funds for the Tri County American Heart Association this summer.  We will kick off our efforts with a FREE donation based class (minimum $20) at the new Debartolo Commons on Saturday May 14 at 9am.

Additional or cash donations will be accepted in person that day.

Please bring a beach towel or yoga mat!

This will be open to ALL, please RSVP by booking your spot HERE.

June 15 kicks off a month long fitness challenge that is open to all members, and unlike ANYTHING we’ve done before!

  • Get a sponsor to support your efforts to complete the following
  • 50 burpees a day for 30 days
  • 20 instudio or virtual Mega Barre classes in 30 days
  • participation in a plank challenge at the end of the 30 days (tentatively on Saturday July 16)

Members will be going “HEART to HEART” against each other in who can raise the most funds, all while completing this fun, heart healthy, fitness challenge!

Sponsors will need to fill out this form HERE, and will get special shout outs all month long for their support of you and the American Heart Association.

We challenge you to show us you HAVE HEART too, and help us reach a goal of $15K that will stay right in our local Tri-County American Heart Association.

It’s no longer just about sharing heart health facts. It’s about all women making a commitment to stand together and taking charge of their own heart health as well as the health of those they can’t bear to live without. Make a commitment to your health now!
